Povall Worthington were appointed to provide design & contract administration services for major alterations to the existing college building.
The building was extended and upgraded to facilitate improved entrance, reception and education services, that satisfy the Disability Discrimination Act. Existing timber framed glazing and restrictive lobbies were replaced with an aluminium framed curtain wall facade, incorporating automatic sliding doors. A new reception desk and additional staff accomodation, forms the centre-piece. A secondary entrance, at the other side of the building, was revised to incorporate a new lift tower.
