JUNCTION ONE - ANTRIM

This was the first major factory outlet centre in Northern Ireland. It covers approximately 9 hectares (23 acres), includes 50 shops ranging from 50 sqm to 1200 sqm. and parking for 1200 cars.

The building fabric is lightweight insulated cladding off a steel frame chosen for speed of erection and compatibility with a piled substructure.

The layout is an arrangement of terraces lining a pedestrian 'street' along a circular route. A continuous glazed canopy along the shop fronts provides shelter and conceals landlord services whilst giving the development a strong identity.
