Located within the historic city walls of Londonderry (N.Ireland's 2nd largest city) this retail development participates in a local urban regeneration. The hillside site is flanked by a recently refurbished shopping centre and the recently built Millennium Forum theatre complex.
A simple contemporary design is implemented on the elevations using various sizes of reconstituted Portland stone and curtain glazing. The horizontal lines of the curving facade and the thin openings mimic the features of the old city walls. An elegant glass canopy marks the entrance at the corner.
